Website Design & Digital Marketing—Skineez®

The Skineez® digital marketing included creating new website pages, email marketing, writing the weekly blog for search engine optimization (SEO), managing Google Ads, and Analytics. The main products include unisex compression socks, unisex fingerless gloves, and women’s capri leggings. There are four collections targeted at different consumers. I created four custom pages for the different collections, Medical-Grade, Sport, Workforce, and Beauty. I chose images and verbiage that would be appropriate to each target group but still reflect the brand.

Digital Marketing Accomplishments

• Moved 20-20mmHg compression sock, $21.99, to number one selling product over the 10-15mmHg compression stocking $19.99 through site placement and promotion.
• Increased average order value by 30% over the previous year.
• Raised the online store conversion rate by 32% over 2021.
• Return customer rate rose by 36% over the previous year.
• Increased sales from email marketing by 1.7%

Email Marketing

Digital marketing/email marketing included moving the Skineez® email list to GetResponese because we wanted something with more flexibility than Shopify’s built-in email. I set up an autoresponder series, created different lists, and was able to do some A/B testing.

The four email autoresponder series had an average 35% open rate and an 8% click rate. The Welcome Email had a 47.19% open rate and a 15% click rate. The FAQs email had a 34.54% open rate and a 9.79% click rate.

I made a number of changes to the Skineez® homepage to help increase the conversion rate. This includes rotating the first image & verbiage in the slider, shrinking the height of it so the products appeared above the fold, obtaining and adding customer reviews, adding the script for the Better Business Burrough (BBB) A+ rating to all of the top landing pages.
