Kaanapali Beachwalk
The Kaanapali Beach Walk is just over a mile-long meandering pathway along the coast of Maui, Hawaii. Kaanapali is a three-mile stretch of beach with many resort hotels. The famous stroll runs from Black Rock, known for cliff diving and snorkeling, to the Hyatt Regency Resort & Spa.
The scenic footpath leads you between the beautiful gardens of the hotels and Kaanapali Beach, with stunning views of the Pacific Ocean.
A Day at Haleakalā National Park
Haleakalā is one of the world’s most massive, dormant volcanos and one of the most popular tourist attractions on the island of Maui, Hawaii. The peak is 10,000 feet above sea level, and lower altitude clouds offer otherworldly views of the barren creator. The sight of the clouds just below is breathtaking and makes it a world-class destination for stargazing, watching the sunrise, or setting into the clouds.
The summit is also home to the Hawaiian state bird, the endangered Nene or Hawaiian Goose, and the world-renowned Haleakalā Observatory, also known as Science Center.
Road to Hana
The Road to Hana is one of the world’s most scenic and challenging drives. Makawao to Waiʻānapanapa State Park is a 39-mile stretch of the entire 64-mile road. There are many beautiful waterfalls and stunning vistas to stop by along the journey. However, it’s a narrow road, with over 600 turns and 59 bridges, many of which are one-way.
Driving the entire highway from Kahului to Hana non-stop can be done in about 2.5 hours. To enjoy stops at beautiful waterfalls and picturesque views along the way will take most of the day.
